ASA 2010 – Eleventh Steel Industry Conference

October witnessed the eleventh Steel Industry Conference at Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast. Highlights of the Conference included presentations on `Global Steel Dynamics in the Current Market’ and `Commodity and Australian Steel Pricing’. Tuesday morning’s session on OH&S received numerous positive comments whilst the guest presentation of Mao’s Last Dancer author Li Cunxin was well received.

Consideration is presently being given to holding a ASA Conference each 18 months alternating between the traditional conference format and a briefer format based on key issues of the day.  More information on this in the near future.
